About Trappsol Cyclodextrins

Trappsol® is CTD's registered trade name for all of its current and future Cyclodextrins. An acronym that follows the word Trappsol tells what Cyclodextrin it is; e.g., Trappsol ACD is Alpha Cyclodextrin; Trappsol HPB is Hydroxypropyl Beta Cyclodextrin; Trappsol RMB is Randomly Methylated Beta Cyclodextrin; Trappsol DMB is 2,6 di-O-methyl Beta Cyclodextrin. CTD's catalog designation includes the "T" for Trappsol, so that the catalog number for Hydroxypropyl Beta Cyclodextrin is THPB. The acronyms tend to be self explanatory, but the reader may need to check the catalog for some of the more esoteric derivatives like tetradecasulfated Beta Cyclodextrin (TDSB - the acronym; TTDSB - the catalog number).

The information given in each section is intended to provide the reader with a synopsis of the areas needed to create a commercial application using Trappsol® Cyclodextrins.
