Cyclo

Cyclo is the name being used to describe Trappsol® Hydroxypropyl Beta Cyclodextrin - Endotoxin Controlled (THPB-EC) grade. This product is specifically tested for (among other things) Bacterial Endotoxins at or below 10 international units per gram.

Cyclo has been used in a compassionate use study to treat two young girls in Reno, Nevada afflicted with Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC) also referred to as "Childhood Alzheimer's", under an FDA approved Investigational New Drug (IND) Protocol.
